After looking at many Suffolk wedding venues Bruisyard Country Estate was our clear favourite from the outset.

You are first met by the impressive stretching driveway with beautiful views of the endless grounds. The renovated 17th century barn where we held our wedding and reception oozes character whilst feeling modern, light and clean. For us the piece of resistance was the hall which we could share with 28 of our friends and family for the entire weekend. The hall is simply stunning, a kitchen of dreams, a huge dining table to host a pre wedding supper party and every bedroom beautiful and unique. Being able to celebrate over the whole weekend elevated our wedding to beyond what we thought possible.

As our wedding fell during the Covid-19 pandemic we had the pleasure of working closely with Gareth, Katie and the team at Bruisyard for longer than many other couples. Their care, organisation and support was exemplary and we cannot thank them enough. They took our endless questions in their stride and nothing was too much trouble. They turned a challenging time into a breeze, for which we are very grateful.

The day itself was perfect. Yes we may have been wearing face masks and there were hints of rain but none of this mattered. The team were always on hand, they met our every need and ensured we just got to relax and soak it all in. The food was outstanding and complimented by many of our guests. The team even managed to keep the impressive firework display a surprise from us, truly the icing on the cake!
