Bruisyard Hall was the perfect setting for our intimate family wedding.

Due to Covid, it was the first opportunity that I had to meet Ricc’s dad and for our two families to get to know each other and so finding a place where we could all be together for three nights was so special.

Bruisyard provided the ideal balance between being a wonderfully warm, cosy home and a professional, experienced wedding venue that could provide excellent catering, supplier recommendations and help to make sure everything ran smoothly (thanks Ruth and team!).

The house and barn certainly have the ‘wow’ factor but I also loved that our young nieces and nephew were fully relaxed and ran around convinced that it was ‘our’ house (they are still asking to go back).

I loved getting ready at the house and taking the beautiful walk down to the barn, we danced late into the evening in the hall and had a lovely day on the Sunday with a chilly beach walk in Aldeburgh and takeaway pizza in the evening.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Bruisyard to anyone, I think it’s a real gem of a place.
